Ralph Lawrence Buckley, son of James and Martha Buckley was born near Monroe, Iowa July 22, 1881 and died June 25, 1926 at his home in Monroe.

At the age of two he moved with his parents to Adair, Iowa. After ten years they returned to Monroe.

He married Myrtle Vaughn in 1898.

Four children – Fern dying in infancy, Doyle of Mount Pleasant, Carl of Topeka, Kansas and Letha living at home.

Surviving are his wife, three children, father, mother, three brothers and one sister.
