George Clark was born in Indiana, March 20, 1851 and died at home December l8, 1925.

Married Ellen Miller in Newton May 29, 1873.

Five children - Lillian died in infancy. Maggie died at age 11 years. Leaves his wife and three daughters - Mrs. Daisy Heinig, Mrs. Otho Smith, and Mrs. Ora Martin, all of Des Moines area.

Two brothers - Charles Clark of Hot Springs, Arkansas, John Clark of Menlo, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Danley of Colorado.

Burial in Westview Cemetery.
