Jacob Van Baale died February 21, 1925 at Fairmount, age 60 years, 8 months and 12 days.

Married Elizabeth Vander Wal on March 17, 1896.

Five children, four living – Lena, Peter, Jacob and Gertrude. One sister, Mrs. Arie DeBruyn,
of Pella. Brothers - John and Engle of Monroe and Johnie of Mitchellville.

Two half brothers, William and Joseph of New Sharon, Iowa.

Burial in Oakland Cemetery at Pella.
