Martha Jane Gossett was born January 1, 1849 in Highland Co., Ohio and died June 3, 1925.

She married Berry F. Steers October 10, 18677.

Two children - Elmer C. and Myrta G.

Her husband died March 24, 1875.

The daughter, Myrta G. died June 6, 1922.

Two sisters - Mary Margaret Young of Sidney, Iowa and Ann Elizabeth Cochrane of Hillsboro, Ohio.

Lawrence Cochrane of Percy is a relative.
