Lauretta Kellems was born near Prairie City on March 15, 1868, and died near Rising Sun on May 22, 1924.

On August 30, 1892, she married George W. Simbro.

Three sons--- Ray; Elmer and Francis. One sister Mrs. Mary Kelso, and four brothers --- Frank; Howard; Bert and George.
