Sarah Ann, daughter of William and Sarah Barbee, was born August ( ) and died October 26, 1924 at the age of ninety-one years and two months.

In 1861, she married Charles Passmore.

One son, Charles of Percy, Ia; one daughter, Emma Gulling, of Storm Lake, and seventeen grandchildren.

Also three stepsons; William, Robert and Grant Sutcliffe.

In 1871, she married John Sutcliffe and came to live on the farm, near Vandalia.

Burial in the Vandalia cemetery.
