Mancy E. (Russell) Woolley was born at Asheville, Carolina on May 6, 1843 and died at her daughter’s home, Mrs. R. F. Norris on August 21, 1924. She came to Iowa in 1882. In 1861, she married David Satts. Two children. Mr. Satts died a few years after their marriage.

In 1869, she married Daniel R. Woolley. Two children, Mr. Woolley died several years ago.

She leaves two sons, T. J. Russell of Woodbine, Iowa and W. H. Woolley of Des Moines, one daughter, Mrs. B. F. Norris of Prairie City.

Two stepdaughters - Mrs. E. F. Plympton of Colfax and Mrs. George Wiley of Galesburg, Illinois. One brother, Lee Russell of Logan, Iowa.

Burial in Waveland Cemetery.
