A son of Mr. James Oldham died Saturday evening from blood poisoning, caused by a scratch on the foot. We have not heard the particulars.

Monroe Mirror: About two weeks ago the 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Oldham, 4 miles northwest of Monroe, in going barefoot cut himself under his toe, and probably came in contact with some poisonous weeds, which resulted in blood poisoning and in his death on Saturday, June 13th. Earl Edgar, was born Sept. 6, 1891, and was 4 years, 9 months, and 7 days old.
