Mrs. H. Hansen, of Collins, mother of Geo. Hanson, of Mingo vicinity, died very suddenly last Wednesday night. She was not known to be sick. Her son got up and built fire as usual, went out to the barn and on coming back, saw she was not up yet. He went to her room and there found her dead. It will be remembered that Mr. Hansen was buried about four weeks ago. The family was has the heart-felt sympathy of the entire community in their double loss of father and mother.

Mrs. H. Hanson, formerly of Clear Creek township, died at her home in Collins quite suddenly on Wednesday night or Thursday morning of last week, surviving her husband only a month.

transcribers note: Hans Hansen/Hanson who died Sept. 14, 1896 died in Collins and was interred in interment at Ashton Cemetery in Clear Creek Township was probably her husband. The name was spelled Hansen in one listing, Hanson in the other
