Thomas Wilson Dies Early Today

Thomas H. Wilson, 73 of 703 S. Third Ave, W. a resident of Newton for 20 years, died this morning in Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which have not been completed.

Survivors are his wife, Bertha; a son, James of Kennett Square, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Gerken of Des Moines, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Wilson was a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.

He was a retired electrical contractor.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson, he was born in Scranton, Pa.

He was married to Bertha Miller Aug. 19, 1953 in Newton. ~ The Newton Daily News, December 22, 1967
