Obituary of Junella Kling-Yoder

Junella Marie Kling-Yoder, 44, of Newton died of a heart attack Thursday, Sept. 4, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E. in Newton, with Father Ernest Braida of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Private family burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery in rural Newton.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to the Jasmine and Jacy Yoder Trust Fund.

The daughter of Donald and Eleanor Kling, she was born March 20, 1959, in Newton. She was a graduate of Newton Senior High School and Des Moines Area Community College. She also attended Central College. She enjoyed motor sports, photography and was an avid Blues fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Jasmine and Jacy Yoder, both of Newton; a sister and brother-in-law, Janna and Steve Birkenholtz of Newton; two brothers, Jeff Kling of Sully and Jim Kling of Rock Island, Ill.; her mother; and several nieces and nephews.
