The Kellogg enterprise:

Capt. S. C. Fugard died of paralysis at the home of his son-in-law, Leroy Clawson, in Kellogg, at 4 a.m., on Thursday, May 10th, 1894, surrounded by the members of his family.

[Mr. Fugard was a worthy member of Co. C. 22d I. O. V., and at the request of James Wilson Post, G. A. R. at Kellogg, quite a number of the members of Garrett Post, went to the Newton cemetery and assisted in laying the body of their comrade in the grave, “Life’s labor o’re, he sleeps well.”]
