Charles Jennings, who died at the family residence one mile south of Colfax, last Wednesday, was aged 87 years, 6 months and 15 days, was a native of Courtland County, N.Y., and lived in that state until 1870, when he came to Iowa. The funeral from the Presbyterian Church, at 11 o'clock today, was conducted by Rev. Dr. F. A. Shearer, and the remains were interred at Oak Hill.
