Charley Stam, whose parents reside at Fairmount, was drowned in a pond near Oskaloosa last Friday. His remains were brought home Sunday morning and he was buried in the Monroe Cemetery Sunday afternoon. The procession that followed the body to the grave was a mile and a half long.
