OBITUARY - Mrs. Harvey Baker, of Muscatine County, Iowa, mother of B. F. Baker, of Ira, and Mrs. T. Mallicoat, of Newton, sister of Mrs. J. E. Robb, died April 5th, 1894, at the age of seventy-two, on the farm where she and her husband have lived for the last fifty years. Their golden wedding was joyfully celebrated the tenth of last April. Mrs. B. was packed and all ready to come with her husband for a visit to Newton, with the purpose of locating here, when she was stricken with the sickness that resulted in her death. It is very sad, indeed. Truly, in the midst of life, we meet with death.
