Clara Faidley Dies Wednesday
Colfax-- Mrs. Roy (Clara) Faidley, 88, a former resident of Jasper County, died Wednesday evening at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Zearing.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walters Funeral Home in Colfax. The Rev. Robert Jones pastor of the Colfax Christian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. David (Marion) Miller of Riverside, Calif.; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight step-children, Mrs. Robert (Marvel) Baxter of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Leon (Marjorie) Maxwell of Colllins, Darrell Faidley of Monroe, Myron Faidley of Colfax, Lloyd Faidley of Newton, Kenneth Faidley of Colfax, Loren Faidley of Phoenix, Ariz. and Ramon Faidley of Colfax; 25 step-grandchildren; and 19 step-great-grandchildren.

The daughter of Charles and Charlotta Julene Johnson, she was born Dec 10, 1884 in Kirkville.
She was married to Fred Valrenald in 1928 in Riverside, California. He died in 1950. Mrs. Faidley married Roy Faidley Dec 19, 1956 in Newton.
