Mrs. K. Rexroat Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Kemper (Rachel) Rexroat, 77, died at the Skiff hospital at 7:58 today, where she had been a patient for the past 17 days.

Rachel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Benjamin, was born April 6, 1869, in Des Moines on the site where the State Capitol now stands. She moved to a farm near newton with her parents when she was 14 and to Newton in 1923.

On April 16, 1892 she was married to Kemer Rexroat, who survives her. Other survivors are three sons, Richard and Enoch of California; Leonard of Newton; also five daughers, Mary Daugherty, Grace Jones, Sarah Sparks, Alice Eaton and Helen Kolping, all of Newton. Several grandchildren also survives.

Funeral arrangements are not complete pending word from the sons in California. Tentative plans are for Friday at the Murdoch Funeral home with the Rev. I. R. Bowers of the Full Gospel church, in charge. Burial will be in Palo Alto cemetery.
