A little daughter [Ethel] of Mr. Blood, of West Newton, died Tuesday morning of dyptheria. ~ The Newton Journal, Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1893.

The memorial services for Ethel Blood, who died Oct. 10, 1893, of malignant croup combined with diphtheria, will be solemnized at the Christian Church on Sunday, March 18th. The father expects to be able by that time to be present, sickness having prevented all winter. All are invited.
