JESSIE STEVENS

COLFAX - Funeral services for Jessie Wade Stevens, 89, of Colfax, were held today, Nov. 13, at the Colfax Baptist Church.

The Rev. Jerry Harris and the Rev. Clinton Johnson conducted services.

Burial was in Colfax Cemetery.

Memorials to the Colfax Baptist Church will be accepted.

Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax handled arrangements.

She died at the Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Martha of Colfax; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lola and Arnold Stier of Colfax and Colleen and Jack Senter of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Claude, four sisters, a brother and an infant son, Jackie.

Mrs. Stevens, a homemaker, was a member of the Colfax Baptist Church.

The daughter of Guy and Margaret Boothe Wade, she was born April 10, 1906 in Colfax.

She was married to Claude Stevens Dec. 23, 1931 in Newton.
