KNOXVILLE -- Daisy Iona Effie Currier Eye, 77, of Westridge Care Center in Knoxville, a former resident of Monroe, died Saturday, April 14, at the center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Elder Arthur Nichols of Knoxville, a minister of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, will conduct services. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Forrest; and two sisters, Marian (Mrs. Ernest) Kingery of Monroe and Marjorie Currier of Redfield, S.D.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

The daughter of Edward and Etta Ellen Currier Currier, she was born April 10, 1913 in Canistota, S.D.

She was married to Forrest I. Eye July 27, 1935 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
