Meryl Elizabeth Davis, 91, of Deer River, Minn., formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Feb. 4.
Graveside rites will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Newton Union Cemetery.
The Rev. Scott Coulter, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.
Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.
Survivors are a daughter, Jean (Mrs. Vincent) Mc Cowen of 240 D. Glencoe, Waterloo; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathleen Mervis of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ray Davis, April 7, 1979, and a son, Ray.
She was married May 2, 1925 in Ohio.
The Davises lived in Newton for several years during World War II when her husband was pastor of the United Presbyterian Church.

Committal services for Meryl (Mrs. Ray) Davis of Deerfield, Minn., will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.
The family will be at the funeral home to meet friends from noon until time of services.
