Lowell P. Clark

PRAIRIE CITY -- Funeral services for Lowell Paul Clark, 53, a lifelong resident of Prairie City, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Prairie City Christian Church.

Robert Price, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

Memorials to the American Heart Association of the Prairie City Christian Church, may be left at the funeral home.

Mr. Clark died Monday at Ochsner Medical Institute in New Orleans, La.

Survivors are two sisters, Lois (Mrs. Kenneth) Guthrie of Newton and LaVonne (Mrs. Marvin) Pendroy of Monroe; and two brothers, Duane and Kenneth Dale, both of Prairie City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in infancy and a niece.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Prairie City Christian Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

As the owner-operator of various games, he traveled with carnivals throughout the United States.

The son of Kenneth and Blanche Peery Clark, he was born July 15, 1937 in Prairie City.
