Died, at Independence, Kansas, on Monday, January 30, 1893, of blood-poisoning, resulting from premature childbirth, Mrs. Chas. D. Newhouse. Deceased was the daughter of James Curl, esq., and was born and raised in Jasper county. ~ The Newton Journal (Iowa), Wednesday, February 8, 1893.
