ANDY CONN DEAD. -- Andy Conn was so severely injured last Thursday, at Pueblo, Cal., that he died on Sunday morning following. The occasion was a head-end collision, and Andy was firing on one of the locomotives at the time of the accident. His brother James went after the body the body (sic) and was expected home last night, and the funeral will be held at the family residence at 1 o'clock to-day. Andy was out with the officers of the road, on a tour of inspection when the collision occurred. The sypathies of our people go out to the friends of the deceased in their dire afflection. ~ The Newton (Iowa) Journal, Wednesday, February 15, 1893.
