Phillip E. Wilcox

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. -- Funeral services for Phillip E. Wilcox of Sante Fe Springs, Calif., a former resident of Newton, were held Monday, Oct. 2, at the Rainbow Chapel in Whittier, Calif.

He died recently at his home.

Survivors are his wife, Tina; two sons, Michael and Stephen, both of California; two granddaughters; a brother Forrest of Green Valley, Ariz.; and two sisters, Berdine (Mrs. Paul) Spencer and Judy (Mrs. Marlow) Good, both of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Wilcox, who was graduated from Newton Community High School, served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean conflict.

He moved to California following his time in the service.
