RUNNELLS -- Francis W. Vos, 58, of Runnells died Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church in Prairie City.
The Rev. Neal Busker, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City. Graveside military honors will be given by the Iowa Army National Guard.
Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City after noon Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Valerie (Mrs. Rein) Authier of Runnells and Victoria (Mrs. David) Schut of Monroe; five grandchildren; and his mother Nellie Vos of Prairie City.
He was preceded in death by his father, his first wife, Tena, in 1972, and a daughter, Vivian Kay.
Mr. Vos, a member of the First Reformed Church of Prairie City and a retired member of the Iowa Army National Guard, was an engineering technician with the U. S. Soil Conservation Service.
The son of Stephen and Nellie Klyn Vos, he was born May 5, 1030 near Prairie City.
He was married to Tena Roorda May 5, 1948 at Prairie City and to Kathy Ohnemus July 27, 1988 at the Camp Dodge Chapel in Des Moines.
