Douglas S. Van Gorp II

Funeral services for Douglas Shawn Van Gorp II, 4-month old son of Douglas S. and Tina R. Van Gorp of Independence, Mo., and great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Van Gorp of Sully, were held Saturday, April 8, at Newcomer’s Overland Park Chapel.

Burial was in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials to the National Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Foundation are being accepted.

The child died April 5 at his home.
