Married To-night
The wedding that occurs in Monroe to-night will rob that community of one of its sweetest and most winsome young ladies. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Scharf, of that city, the marriage of their daughter, Miss Byrde, and Mr. F. Reinhardt, will be solemnized at eight o’clock, to-night. The wedding will be a very quiet affair – only the relatives and a very few intimate friends being present.
The bride is well known in Newton and has many admirers here who wish her and her husband the best of everything. The groom is a resident of Lincoln, Ills., and is a member of the firm of M. Reinhardt’s Sons, wholesale and retail dealers in hardware, and is a man who has competence.
The couple will leave for Chicago on Thursday where they will purchase the needed household goods and then to their future home in Lincoln. The wedding trousseau was among the finest ever in Jasper county.
