Metz Ladies cleared $13.20 on Piano Fund

After the rural graduating exercises held in the Metz Baptist Church Friday evening the ladies of the church served ice cream and cake and cleared $13.20 which will be applied on the piano fund.

The graduates were Stoy Clement, Irene Watt, Pearl Hitchler, Charles Coker, and Perry Moffit.

The church was trimmed with the class colors, purple and white, and the program given by the graduates of the rural eighth grade was a very interesting one. ~ 21 June 1911
