Robert Clements and Ina Peterson, both of porcelain - Joint final award of $52.54 ($26.27 each) for a total of $68.09 for their idea to relieve congestion on top coat furnace line and reduce tub rejects caused by chips, nicks, etc. Their suggestion is to have ground coat tub sprayer run parts on ground coat furnace line. An operator handling outer tub repair unloads these tubs. Before this idea was installed all N and J tubs were run on cover coat furnace line. All of these tubs traveled down same repair belt resulting in crowded conditions on repair belt. ~ The Maytag Bulletin, February 11, 1965
