Mrs. Chester Petermeier and Mrs. Belva Fuller went to Mingo Thursday to help Mrs. Petermeier's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fl. I. Inglis, move. Mrs. Petermeier returned home Saturday and Mrs. Fuller remained for a longer visit.

Those from here attending the Civilian Defense fireman's program Friday night at Newton were: L. E. Van Rees, Paul Waddle, Max Butler, Calvin Noah, Jr., Elmer Klauenberg, Rueben Bauercamper and C. J. Butler.
