About sixty gathered at the Maxwell park Sunday for the T. H. Strickler reunion the rain Aug. 7 called off. About 20 came from Des Moines as it didn’t rain much there and did not get back Aug. 13. D. R. Tripp of Colfax, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hesson of Newton, John Oyler and family of Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Jones and family, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Southern and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Turner of Mingo, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Weston and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Weston of Ira, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morrison were among those present. Tom Morrison is president, Mary Tripp of Des Moines, secretary. They meet at Maxwell the first Sunday in August 1934.
