OF JOSEPH PICKLESKellogg, June 3--Miss Lois Lorraine Reed, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Reed, and Joseph M. Pickles, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pickles, were united in marriage in the Methodist church in Colfax Sunday afternoon, June 1, at 2 o'clock.
The single ring ceremony was read by the pastor, Paul K. Potter, in the presence of Miss Joanna Paulson, friend of the bride, and Junior Pickles, brother of the bridegroom.
A program of nuptial music preceded the ceremony, played by Miss Ellen Howell, who also played soft music during the ceremony.
The bride was graduated from the Kellogg high school in the class of 1946; attended summer school at Central college in Pella last summer and taught Spring Hill school south of town the past year.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Colfax high school; served for a period of 27 months in the Pacific area, and is at present employed at Dell's Produce here.
After a brief honeymoon, the young couple will be at home in Kellogg.
