Guardian Named for Sanford Girl

Letters of guardianship were issued Wednesday by Clerk of the District Court L. S. Kennington naming Sheriff Earl Shields as guardian of Lucille Bernadine Sanford, 14, whose parents were victims of the triple slaying on the farm near Reasnor Friday, March 10.

A petition for letters of guardianship for Sheriff Shields was filed for the girl with Clerk Kennington today.
