ANDERSON, Milton
Retired, born 6 Apr 1814 in Fayette Co. PA. In 1816 came with his parents to Stark Co., OH; in 1854 to Newton, Iowa. He first commenced in the saddlery and harness business and afterword added to it boots and shoes, wlich he continued till 1873, when he retired from active life. He owns Lots 7 and 8 in Block 25, with his residence, also business property in the city. He had been a member of the Council and Treasurer of the town. He married Sarah HARDEN in January 1838. She was born in 1817 in Clermont Co., OH. The had seven children, three living-Mary E., Minerva and Viola. Members of M. E.
