HALL, J. R.
Photographer, Monroe. He was born in Ohio. While a boy, his parents moved to IN, thence to Ottumwa, this State in 1844, remaining until Srping of 1852, and thence to this town until 1854. They then moved to Pella and our subject returned to this place in 1857 until the breaking out of the war of the rebellion. He enlisted in Co d., 13th Regt. I. V. I.. He served until Feb. 1862 when he was honorably discharged. In 1864 he married Miss S. A. SHAW in Marion Co., this State. She was born in Ohio. They have three children, Luella, Lenora, and John R. Mr. Hall is a Republican, and the and the family are members of the Methodist church.
