WIDDELL, George
Carpet weaver on Mechanic street, residence same. He was born 20 Nov 1815 in Lebanon Co., PA. In 1866 he came to Newton and continued his present business which he has been engaged in since he was 11 years old. He married Mary A. MILBURN in 1837. She was born in 1822 in Bedford Co., PA. They had six children, five living--Sarah, Mollie, Georgeann, Etta and William K. They lost Amanda in 1865 aged 21 years.
