O'NEALL, J. B.
Dry goods, boots, shoes and clothing, east side square. He was born 22 Jul 1829 in Salem, Indiana. He went to Dubuque, IA in 1851, to Monroe, Wisc. in 1854, and in 1857 came to Newton, Iowa. He has been engaged as a civil engineer, and Government Surveyor until coming to Newton. He commenced his present business in 1865. He married Eliza HELM in May 1858. She was born in 1837 in Indiana.
