REID, James H.
Farmer; Sec. 30; P. O. Mitchellville; born in West Virginia in 1836; came to Scott Co., Iowa in 1855; and to Jasper Co. in 1868. Has 120 acres of land, valued at $40 per acre. Married Miss Augusta C. METTIER in 1865; she was born in Scott Co., Iowa in 1844. They have four children - Jennie E., John M., Ida A. and Edward. Independent in politics.
