POTTER, Alfred
Farmer, Stock Grower and Dealer; Sec. 21; P. O. and residence Prairie City; born in Litchfield Co., Conn. in 1845; came to Jasper Co. in 1860. Has 200 acres of land, valued at $70 per acre. Married Harriet M. WICKERSHAM in 1873; she was born in Pennsylvania in 1846. Republican; members of the M. E. Church. Mr. Potter came to this county with his father; breaking out fifty acres, he has added to it until he has 200 acres.
