HARRAH, A. L.
Co-0perative store, south side public square. he was born 2 Jan 1843 in Harrison Co., OH. In 1854 he went to Scott Co., IA, and in 1856 to Newton, Iowa. He first engaged in farming and owns 160 acres in Malaka Twp. He also owns $3000 in stock in this store. He enlisted in 1864 in Co. B, 46th I. V. I, served about eight months and was honorably discharged. He married A. B. DODGE in 1867. She was born in 1847 in Sullivan Co., NY. They have two children, Mary E., and George D.
