COX, Nathaniel
Farmer; Sec. 35; P. O. Grinnell; born in Illinois Feb. 14, 1840, and came to this county in 1849; owns 350 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre. His wife, Mahala J. CARSON, was born in Indiana Jan. 9, 1845; they were married in 1859; they have four children - Ora E., born March 30, 1862; Albert Lee, Dec. 30, 1863; Mary S., March 26, 1867; Edgar M., April 15, 1860. Mrs. COX is a member of the Christian Church.
