SAUNDERS, M. V. B.
Farmer; Sec. 6; P. O. Reasnor; owns 183 acres of land, valued at $5,500; born in Henderson Co., Ill., in 1837; moved to this county in 1860, settling in this township. Enlisted Aug., 1862, in the 28th Iowa V. I., Co. K; participated in the battles of Magnolia Hills, Champion Hills, siege of Vicksburg and many others; was discharged in June, 1865.
