ENGLISH, Alfred W.; Farmer; Sec. 33; P. O. Vandalia; born in Indiana Jan. 26, 1833; came to this county in 1867; owns forty acres of land, valued at $35 per acre. His wife, Sarah Margaret BUCKINGHAM, was born in Ohio in 1835; were married Aug. 14, 1856; had five children-Virginia Iowa, Charles Thomas, M. Buckingham, Henry Wallace, Hester Margaret.
