DRAPER, MEANS, SHEARER

DRAPER, William H.; Farmer; Sec. 18; P. O. Vandalia; was born in Cumberland Co., Ky., Jan. 10, 1811; came to this county Oct. 17, 1850; owns 723 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre. Republican in politics. His wife, Nancy MEANS, was born in Rockingham Co., N. C., Feb. 2, 1815, and they were married March 2, 1833, and have five children-Ira Ellis, born Jan. 4, 1834; Fountin M., Feb. 18, 1836; Celia M., July 17, 1838; John J., June 20, 1844; Eliza J., Jan. 26, 1854. Mr. DRAPER has been School Director and Road Supervisor, etc. He has his farm under a high state of cultivation.
