ROBINSON, William J.; Farmer, Sec 8, P.O. Kellogg. He was born in Somerset Co., PA in 1831. He moved to Henry Co. IL in 1856, and to this county in 1876. He married Tabetha SCOTT in 1854. She was born in Jefferson Co. OH in 1834. Their children are I. S., John M., W. J., Adeline J., Effie E., Minnie May, and Arthur V. He is a Republican. He owns 220 acres of land valued at $30 per acre. He enlisted in 127th IL V. I. in 1862, and was promoted to 1st Sgt. He was wounded at Ezra Church battle of Atlanta, GA, 28 Jul 1864. He rejoined his regiment in the October following.
