COOPER, B. F.; Farmer; Sec. 1; P. O. Clyde; born in Washington CO., Md., Feb. 14, 1834. He moved to Illinois in 1845, and thence to Kansas in 1857; remained one year, and then returned to Illinois, and thence to Iowa in 1865. He improved a good farm in Clear Creek Tp., which he recently sold. Married Mary Ann WEISER in Illinois in 1854. She was born in Ohio July 8, 1831. They have eight children - Gracie, Alice, Ransom, Metta, Byron, Martha, Charles and Edna. Alma died, 2 years of age. His grandfather was in the Revolutionary war.
