SAUM, G. T.; Farmer, Sec. 1, P.O. Kellogg; born in Highland Co., Ohio, in 1827; located in this county in 1855. Married Miss Sarah REUSCH in 1847; had one child-- G. F., born in 1853. Mrs. SAUM died in 1855. Married his second wife, Marietta BORHOUGHT, in 1856; she was born in Virginia; their children are William E., Charley F., Emma, Sylvia and Manfred. Mrs. M. SAUM died in 1867. He married his third wife, Annie WILSON, in 1869; their two children are Kate and Jay; Mrs. Annie SAUM was born in Westmoreland Co., Penn. Mr. SAUM is a descendant in a direct line from Nicholas SAUM, who located in the Shenandoah Valley, Va., prior to the Revolution, and who had a son killed in that war, fighting for American liberty.
