MORGAN, Ryan; Farmer, Sec. 15, P. O. Kellogg; born in Lee Co., Ill., in 1835; moved to Poweshiek Co., Iowa, in 1855; located in this county in 1868. Married Amanda ROBERTSON in 1860; she was born in Niagara Co., N. Y. in 1839; their children are William B., Margie I., Ryan G., Edith A., Amanda J., Harriet A., Fannie A., Mary A. and T. R. Mr. MORGAN is a Greenback in politics. He enlisted in the 15th I. V. I., in 1864, Co F.; accompanied Sherman on his celebrated march to the sea; was present at the grand review at Washington in May 24, 1865 (his own birthday) and was mustered out in 1865, at Louisville, Ky.
