Seeking any info on Luke Malloy b. 1865 in Iowa. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Malloy. On the 1870 census for Union, Jackson Co., Iowa, Thomas is listed as 44 years old b. in Ireland and Mary is 30 b. Iowa. Their children on this census are John b 1858 in Kansas, Thomas b 1863 in Missouri, Luke b 1865 in Iowa, Arthur b 1868 Iowa and Patrick b 1870 Iowa.
On the 1880 census for Washington, Jackson Co., Iowa, Thomas's surname is spelled Malouy he is listed as 50 b Ireland, Mary is 40 b Iowa. Their children on this census are John age 22, Thomas age 17, Luke age 15, Arthur age 12, Joseph age 10, Juley age 7, Mary age 5, and Elizabeth age 2.
I would appreciate very much any info at all anyone may have on this family.
